Ex-worker held for theft

Bhilai, Jul 28: Police have arrested a man on charges of committing theft at a shop. The accused earlier worked at this shop and was well aware about the place where cash was kept.
Inspector Vishal Sone (SHO, Chhawani) informed that they had received a complaint from one Ravi Rohila regarding theft at his shop situated in T – Market, Power House. Some unidentified thief had burgled Rs 17000 from the drawer of the second floor of his shop.
Police quizzed all the concerned people and activated its network of informers. On suspicion, a former worker of the shop was taken in custody. During sustained interrogation, he confessed to have committed theft at the shop.
The accused is identified as Sonu Musalmaan a resident of Sangram Square, PS Vaishali Nagar. The stolen cash was recovered from his possession. Charges were framed against him under section 454, 380 of IPC. He was produced before the court and has been sent to jail on judicial remand.
