BJYM launches signature drive against alleged corruption in CGPSC

Bhilai, Mar 18: Local unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha launched “Halla Bol” campaign and signature drive against the alleged corruption in state’s public service commission. The signature drive was conducted among the students those who are preparing for the government services recruitment exams. Through this drive, they are pressing a charter of ten demands.
BJYM leader Nitesh Mishra informed that the demands include making the name public and taking action against the expert who stated that the option of south eastern monsoon was correct for Chhattisgarh state; judicial inquiry should be conducted into the allegations made against the Commission and the report should be made public within a time frame; the annual calendar of the Commission should be released on the day of Constitution Day i.e. November 29; The system that prevailed in the year 2014 should be implemented and the exam results should be declared before conducting the fresh PSC prelims examinations; Carbon copy of answer sheets should be provided to the candidate; Videography of all the examination centers should be done; One centre in each district i.e. 28 examination centers should be set up in the state; Information about the negative marking should be clearly mentioned on the answer sheet; advertisements must be published at its earliest for all the pending exams; and fulfilling its promise made in the election manifesto, Congress should create a large number of government jobs and make appointments within the time limit. BJYM leader Nitesh Mishra said that the incidents like that of Virendra Patel; missing information of negative marking in Feb 14 exam, etc expose the corruption prevailing in PSC. He demanded to immediately remove the PSC Chairman from his office. Ranjit Singh Thakur, Rahul Bhosle, Saurav Jaiswal and others were present.
