Schools reopen with customary welcome

Korba, Aug 04: After a gap of nearly two years, the schools have opened in the district, and the children were accorded customary welcome, as part of ‘Shala Pravesh Utsav’. Both Mayor Rajkishore Prasad and District Collector Ranu Sahu, were part of the Utsav, wherein the students were welcomed into the schools, adhering to COVID 19 protocol.
The officials also inspected different schools of the region, and directed staff and teachers to administer the session, with both education and COVID 19 appropriate behaviour. Plantation programs were also held, in many schools, which saw enthusiasm on part of the students.
The Collector and Mayor visited Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools, Sada School, Government Middle School Choori, and Government High School Salaora and had a direct interaction with the students and inspected labs, libraries, sports units and classrooms, and gave necessary instructions to the school staff.
District Panchayat CEO Kundan Kumar, KMC Commissioner Kuldeep Sharma, DEO Govardhan Prasad Bharadwaj, and other officials, and teachers were present.
