Ore Handling Plant records Highest Dispatches in a Day

Bhilai, Jul 16: Record dispatch of 35590 Tonnes of material in a day was recorded by SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant’s Ore Handling Plant on July 13, 2021 as against previous best day dispatch of 34580 Tonnes recorded on January 13, 2021. Out of the total dispatches on July 13, 21, OHP-B dispatched 12250 Tonnes of material while 23340 T of material was dispatched by OHP-A. OHP dispatches raw materials including iron ore and fluxes to its consumer shops inside the Plant including Sintering Plant 2 and Sintering Plant 3, Blast Furnace 8, Refractory Material Plant and 3, Steel Melting Shop 3, mainly. Director I/c Bhilai Steel Plant, Anirban Dasgupta, ED (Works) Anjani Kumar visited Ore Handling Plant on July 15, 2021 to congratulate entire team of OHP led by BL Chandwani, CGM (OHP). A park being developed by OHP Team named Golden Park was inaugurated by Director I/c, Anirban Dasgupta. Saplings were planted by Dasgupta, Anjani Kumar, ED (Works), Chandwani, CGM (OHP) and other members of OHP team.
