CISF Central Sector plants saplings under Mega Tree Plantation drive

Bhilai, Jul 25: In a bid to keep the environment clean and balanced the CISF Head Quarters has set the target to plant 60000 saplings for its Central Sector, Bhilai. Under the leadership of Sanjay Prakash, IG Central Sector, massive plantation drive was carried out in the units that come under the Central Sector.
About 19000 saplings are being planted in the units. About 6400 saplings were planted in the 5 units located in Bhilai. The IG planted sapling at the III rd Reserve Battalion Campus in Utai. Apart from the members of the force, women and children also participated enthusiastically in the plantation drive. In his address, Sanjay Prakash said that the tree is the source of human life. It is just like an integral part of our body. Therefore, it is our responsibility to safeguard the plants. Everyone should ensure that the existing trees as well as the newly planted saplings are given proper care. If any plant dries immediately another sapling should be planted.
