Denizens troubled with liquor shop

A liquor shop is being operated in the middle of a residential colony situated on Kohka – Kurud Road. The locals are feeling troubled with this shop and have been demanding to shift the shop to some other place. Communist Party of India (Marxist – Leninist) Liberation District Committee member and Labour Leader Shyamlal Sahu informed that this shop is being operated in Street 5 of Saket Nagar situated on Kohka – Kurud Road. Locals are feeling troubled with the presence of boozers for the entire day. The incidents of eve-teasing have also increased and the women are feeling unsafe here. Sahu stated that the locals have demanded from the administration to relocate this shop to some outer spot but any action has not been taken yet. Resentment among the locals is rising due to administrative apathy, he said. Sahu informed that some locals have approached their party for support after which they have decided to launch agitation under the banner of CPI (ML) Liberation if the administration fails in shifting the shop to some other spot.
