Rajbhasha seminar held for Safety Engineering employees

Bhilai, Jul 29: Under the aegis of Rajbhasha department, SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant, a seminar was organised for employees of Safety Engineering department to increase awareness about Hindi at Safety Excellence Centre on July 28, 2021.
GP Singh, Acting CGM (Safety & FS) was the Chief Guest while Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, GM (Safety) presided over the function. GP Singh, in his address stated usage of voice typing in Hindi typing will reduce errors. SAIL-BSP must inspire its employees to use Hindi as much as possible, as it is a Rajbhasha under the Constitution. Employees of SED must work towards this direction, he said. At the outset, Rakesh Mishra, DGM (Safety) and Hindi coordination Officer presented details of use of Hindi for official purpose. Jitendra Manikpuri, AM (Rajbasha) urged everyone to use Hindi in their daily proceedings. D Meshram from Rajbhasha department demonstrated Voice typing techniques in mobile phones.
A Quiz programme was organized and Lomas Kumar, Senior Operative, Shovan Ghosh, SM, Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, GM secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
