Ruffians held for anti-social behaviour

Bhilai, Jul 21: Police have arrested two ruffians and have taken strict action against them. Inspector Durgesh Sharma (SHO, Khursipar) informed that on the directions of SP Prashant Agrawal and guidance of ASP (City) Sanjay Dhruw and CSP (Chhawani) Vishwas Chandrakar, they are taking strict action against the goons and ruffians.
In the first case, police arrested a ruffian on charges of abusing a youth. The victim was moving towards a medical store for purchasing medicines for his mother. He was intercepted by the accused Karan Yadav (21) son of Charku Yadav a resident of Bapu Nagar Khursipar.
The accused demanded money from him for liquor. When he refused, the accused assaulted him and used abusive words. The accused has been booked under the provisions mentioned in section 294, 506, 327 of IPC.
In the second case, police arrested a ruffian who was threatening people with a sharp weapon. The accused identified as Manoj Soni (39) son of Deenanath Soni was arrested from a place near Bapu Nagar Liquor Shop and has been booked under the provisions mentioned in section 25, 27 of IPC. The accused is a listed offender of Khursipar and is accused in several criminal cases.
