Common people approach Collector with various complaints

Bhilai, Dec 15: On Tuesday, Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure conducted Jandarshan and heard the various problems and demands of 33 people. He met the citizens and assured them to take action on their application as per rules. In the Collector’s Jandarshan programme, a disabled and specially challenged person of Girdhari Nagar Durg submitted an application for sanction of financial assistance. Similarly, a 90 percent disabled 70-year-old person of Shankar Nagar with both legs amputated sent an application for sanction of monetary assistance for earning a living. A farmer of village Bhedsar submitted an application regarding the compensation amount against his land which has been acquired for road construction. 73-year-old applicant Keshav Deshmukh stated that he has agricultural land on Belaudi – Bhedsar route. Pucca road construction work is being done on Belaudi – Bhedsar route for which his agricultural land has been acquired. He added that other people of the village have received compensation for the occupied land. But the compensation amount has not been provided on the land which is registered in his wife’s name. He has been interacting with the Road Construction Department but the compensation has not been sanctioned yet. They are facing problems in getting the compensation amount. He has demanded to sanction the compensation amount. In another case, a resident of Anjora (B) complained about encroachment of government land at his village. A person is illegally constructing a building by capturing government land. Gopal Das of village Semaria applied for ‘old age pension’ . Collector Dr Bhure has asked the concerned departmental officers to take action as per rules.
