Collector inspects township area, dengue larvae found in 2 houses

Bhilai, Jun 19: District Collector and Administrator of Bhilai Municipal Corporation, Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure on Saturday conducted an inspection of Sector-04 area after the dengue larvae was in a couple of houses in the area. At the time of his visit also dengue larvae were found in two coolers while checking of water filled in the coolers was being done. Bhilai Corporation Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi and health department team were checking for stagnant water and were visiting door to door to check the water tank, pots and possible storage of water in old containers. He reprimanded the BSP officials of the concerned department and directed them to take the work of prevention of dengue seriously. After confirmation of dengue patients in the township area, staff from Bhilai Municipal Corporation are conducting fogging, distributing temephos and sprinkling malaria oil at places of water logging. It was on the After finding dengue patients and larvae in many houses in the township area, Collector Dr was visiting the area where the dengue patients were found in Street No 05 of Sector 04. He checked the preventive efforts being carried out to present any spread. During this, dengue larvae were found in two houses. He instructed the officers of Bhilai Corporation and BSP to work in harmony with each other with utmost seriousness. Every household was asked to do all the necessary works like intensive screening of dengue larvae breeding place.
During the inspection, Deputy Commissioner of the Corporation Ashok Dwivedi, Zone Commissioner Preeti Singh, Health Officer Dharmendra Mishra, Javed Ali, Sanitation Inspector KK Singh and on behalf of BSP Management GP Ghosh, Health Officer KK Yadav and others were present.
