School Opening ceremony held at SAGES Nagpura

Bhilai, Aug 02: A grand opening ceremony for the students was organised in the school premises of Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School (SAGES) Nagpura on Monday. Chief guest of the ceremony was Shalini Yadav, President, Durg Zila Panchayat. In the beautifully decorated premises with charts, models and artifacts, the teachers welcomed the students with a welcome song, followed by distribution of chocolates. Chief Guest Shalini Yadav distributed books and study material to students.
The opportunity was taken to lay the foundation stone for the renovation work of the school building. Eminent guests Devendra Deshmukh, President, Janpad Panchayat; Ms Gaikwad, vice president, Janpad Panchayat; Vinay Poyam, SDM Durg; Govind Sao, BRC; Ms Chandrakar, ABEO; Saraswati Sen, Janpad member; VK Rao, BEO; Bhupendra Rigri, Sarpanch, Nagpura; Ravindra Yadav, Rohit Dewangan, SMDC president; and Sacchhidanand Alok, CEO, Zila Panchayat laid the foundation stone for the building. The parents of the students participated in the event and specially expressed their satisfaction at the safety arrangements made at the school in view of the Covid pandemic. “I am totally satisfied with the school’s arrangements. Teachers are so caring and here our children are safe. ” stated a Mother.
Another parent was full of appreciation for the opening ceremony and said, “It was a grand ceremony and this school is providing all the facilities like those available in the previous private school.”
