Claim objections raised in Gram Sabha regarding Economic Survey

Kareli Badi, May 08:
The Economic Survey 2023 of Gram Panchayat Kareli Badi was conducted in a special Gram Sabha Samrasata. The camp was attended by the Sarpanch, Panch, Anganwadi workers, and survey enumerators. During the Gram Sabha, many issues and problems faced by the villages were raised, and claims and objections were made.
One of the major concerns of the villagers was confirming kutcha housing. A large number of beneficiaries raised objections to the survey work conducted by the enumerators. The enumerators had counted the names of the beneficiaries of the ward-wise economic survey, and an application was made to the Sarpanch to confirm kutcha houses. The Gram Sabha in-charge Employment Assistant, OP Ahirwar, read out the problem, and the economic survey enumerators provided quick solutions to satisfy the beneficiaries.
Jageshwar Nishad, the Survey in-charge, said that the claim objections have been received and the problem will be solved soon after the edit option comes in the software. Additionally, applications were submitted for ration cards, dilapidated roofs, new washerman buildings, pensions, washrooms, and housing.
Sarpanch Domar Singh Sahu, Panch Yadram Nishad, Daneshwar Sinha, Nakul Bharti, Parvati Nishad, teacher Ghanshyam Sahu, employment assistant Omprakash, and others were present at the event. The meeting was attended by many villagers who shared their concerns and grievances.
