Additional construction demolished in Vaishalinagar area

Bhilai, Oct 21: The team of revenue Department on Thursday demolished the additional construction that had been done by a Shop under Zone No 02 Vaishalinagar. On coming to know about one Dipesh Nathani of Jalaram Sweets having raised a tin shed to operate business, the team of Revenue Department reached the spot and demolished the tin shed by pressing an earth mover into service.
Here it needs a mention that a special squad has been formed on the instructions of Corporation Commissioner Prakash Surve to take action on encroachments, constructions without permission and illegal encroachment on vacant government or corporation land in the corporation limits. Assistant Revenue Officer of Vaishali Nagar, Anil Meshram revealed that action was taken after Inderjeet Singh, a resident of the same area complained about additional construction by Jalaram Sweets located in Vaishalinagar Gol Market. About 500 Sq ft area had been encroached with the use of tin shed. On the basis of the complaint, the staff of the revenue department reached the spot and found the complaint to be true. The operator of the Sweets Shop had made an additional construction of about 10 feet x 50 feet just outside of his building by placing tin sheds and iron ladder to climb up. Also, he was using the space to keep cattle creating hurdle to the area that belonged to the complainant. The team swung into action and in the presence of police force the additional occupation was demolition and the site was made encroached free. During the proceedings, Madan Tiwari, Guptanand Tiwari, Chaitu, Kanhaiya, Khemlal, Mansingh, Bisahu and other employees of the Revenue Department and police forces were present.
