GPM SP takes unique initiative for benefit of students

Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Jun 08: Keeping in the mind the necessity of English language for students, members of Police Pathshala took an initiative and organised a webinar through facebook live on google meet to make English learning good, easy and interesting.
SP Sooraj Singh Parihar(IPS) organised a webinar on the topic ‘How to earn a command on English language’. The experts panel included Harish Kumar IRS, Anurag Tripathi IRS, Aishawariya Pratap Singh ( UP Legal Services), Ausotosh Diwedi IAS, Ananya Singh IAS, Saurabh Sharma Journalist and Sooraj Singh Parihar IAS himself as host of the webinar. In the beginning panelists were introduced to the students who were live. Earlier too SP has taken initiative to organise career guidance seminar. In these seminars many students asked the question how to get a command on reading and writing English. They had also asked about English grammar, vocabulary and other aspects of English language. As now English has become mandatory at all levels and cannot be ignored, webinar focused on how to enhance confidence, become a good public speaker and face interviews in English etc.
Expert panel member Harish said, while learning any language it is important to know about its origin and work on its root. He mentioned that step-by-step approach to the language can fetch desired results. Webinar host Sooraj Singh Parihar explained that how in right ratio passive process- Reading, Listening and active process-Writing and Speaking needs to be practiced and with more focus on active process, English speaking can be made better. He added that how with the use of ‘Cognitive Behavioural Therapy’ one can avert the fear of speaking in English.
