Looters nabbed within few hours

Bhilai, June 06: Chhawani Police have arrested two accused of loot within few hours of the crime. Inspector Gopal Vaishya informed that the victim Johat Ram Nirmalkar was robbed by two ruffians when he was returning from a liquor shop.
The accused had looted two quarters of country liquor as well as Rs 320 cash from him. On receiving complaint, police team swung into action and examined the CCTV footages of the crime scene.
The accused were spotted in the CCTV footages after which the patrolling party of Chhawani Police Station reached Sweeper Mohalla and the accused were taken in custody.
During interrogation, they confessed to have committed the crime. The accused are identified as B Murli (38) son of B Kotesh and A Vivek (26) son of A Bhaskar Rai, both residents of Sweeper Mohalla, Khursupar. They have been booked under the provisions mentioned in section 392 of IPC.
