Man bludgeons younger brother to death

Bhilai, Jun 04: In a sensational incidence, a man killed his younger brother to death at village Dhaba of Kumhari Police Station limits. The incidence occurred late evening on Tuesday. The accused has been arrested and booked under the provisions mentioned in section 302
of IPC.
According to information, the deceased was Ravi Kumar Yadav (28) a resident of Village Dhaba. He worked as a labour in the firm Surjeet Agriculture. As per his routine, he returned from work and was having dinner with his family.
His elder brother Lokesh Yadav lives with his family at a nearby house. Lokesh and his wife Chandrika often quarrelled over some or the other issue. On Tuesday evening also, they entered into argument and soon Lokesh turned violent.
When Lokesh threateningly approached towards Chandrika, she ran out of the house and reached her brother-in-law Ravi Yadav’s place for help. She was narrating the incidence to Ravi Yadav when Lokesh reached there and poured his anger on the younger brother accusing him of giving shelter to Chandrika Yadav.
Lokesh took a heavy metal tool and attacked Ravi Yadav. Lokesh escaped from the spot after bludgeoning Ravi to death. On information, team of Kumhari Police Station reached the spot and the accused was arrested from the outskirts of the village. He has been booked under the provisions mentioned in section 302 of IPC.
