PHE officials misbehaved; Gazetted Officers Association submits memo

Bhilai, Aug 28: Registering a protest against the misbehaviour with PHE Department’s Executive Engineer Sameer Sharma and other officials / employees of the department, a delegation of Durg District Gazetted Officers Association submitted a memorandum to Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and SP Prashant Agarwal.
The memorandum demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and strict legal action against them. The members of the Association said that there is resentment among the officers due to this unpleasant incident at the PHE office.
The Association has demanded strict action against the anti-social elements who dare to obstruct the government works. Association members informed the Collector and SP regarding the incident in detail and demanded immediate action.
The delegates said that strict action against the culprits as per rules will create a sense of security in the minds of the officers and employees. Delegates added that the feeling of insecurity makes adverse impact on the morale of the officers / employee at workplace. Strict legal action against such anti-social elements will give a strong message.
Association President Vipin Jain detailed the Collector and SP about the incident. Senior Vice President Dr Gambhir Singh Thakur, General Secretary Pravas Singh Baghel, Vice President Rajkumar Kurre, Treasurer Riyaz Ahmed, Sameer Sharma, Media In-charge Saurabh Sharma, Executive Member Suresh Thakur, Ajay Sahu, Amit Agarwal, DD Jha, DS Verma, CP Dipankar, Nohar Singh Thakur, Priyamvada Ramteke, Sudha Das, Ashok Srivas, AK Tembhurne, Donar Singh Thakur, Ramesh Pradhan, SS Rajput, Suresh Pandey and other members of the Association were present.
