Gaiety marks the I Day celebration at DAV Hudco

Bhilai, Aug 20: DAV Public School Hudco celebrated Independence Day with strict adherence to COVID 19 guidelines. Prashant Kumar, Principal and Deputy regional officer DAV Institutions, CG Zone. He hoisted the national flag at the school building as chief guest.
The hoisting of the flag accompanied by the National Anthem with everyone saluting the guidon created a vibrant loyalism in the premises. The cultural programme began with an English speech that was delivered by Lavanya Sharma of Class XI, followed by a Hindi speech by Kavita Bajaj of Class X.
The campus was filled with the aura of patriotism when the teachers sun a melodious patriotic song. The principal in his short speech recalled the sacrifices churned by the soldiers for the sake of freedom. He also eulogised valiant contribution of soldiers in giving a glorious identity to the nation.
He encouraged developing patriotic spirit among the children and advised them to adhere to the culture and traditions and added that we need to identity our strength and capabilities build a new nation where the mind will be without fear. He urged everyone to redefine the meaning pf freedom. The programme came to an end with the shanti path.
