Newly elected Barbaspur sarpanch’s terror create problem for people

Manendragarh, Jun 01: Village panchayat Barbaspur under Maendragarh block which once earned its name as an ideal village panchayat used to attract people for its unparallel hoteling for its location on NH-43 is now breathing its last as panchayati raj system is in dire straits. At present the collapsing administrative system coupled with sarpanch’s occupying this post by turning themselves as fake tribals has become problematic for the people.
It needs to be mentioned here, S S Narayana posted as a railway employee in Darri Tola station was Soni by caste. All his official documents confirmed his caste as Soni. His only son S Sawan Kumar is automatically Soni by caste by birth and all his school documents also confirmed it.

After the death of S S Narayana ( Sawan Kumar’s father) his wife Bimla Yadav received all the compensation amount and after Vimla’s death, Sawan being their son inherited all their property. After the death of parents Sawan Kumar changed his caste as Gond and father’s name as Pyarelal. Sawan Kumar prepared a fake caste certificate of Gond tribe and also changed his father’s name and caste in aadhar card. Sawan by misleading the system five years back prepared a fake caste certificate which remained active for six months and thereafter Sawan has no documents to sustain his claim that he belongs to Gond tribe. It is essential to have 1944-45 land record and primary school certificate record to prove one’s claim as from tribal community. Sawan Kumar two years back played foul to win panchayat election which is against the spirit of sixth schedule.
After occupying the post of Barbaspur sarpanch he created hurdles in the functioning of panchayati raj system.
Fierce attitude of sarpanch, enters other’s house at midnight
Sawan forcibly entered the house of sarathi woman’s daughter house in the midnight as they have taken out a drainage on government’s land. Sawan misbehaved with them and also used foul language.
Another incident of an ST youth beaten unnecessarily by Sawan on false charges of theft also came to fore. Three youths of the village have submitted affidavit to collector demanding action against the sarpanch.
The probe was directed to be carried out by the former SDO Revenue Manendragrah and still the probe is pending with tehsildar Manendragarh. It is beyond understanding that why the collector and other administrative officials are not interested in carrying out the probe and in turn saving Sawan from his malicious actions.
