Bar and Rod Mill creates daily and shift production records

Bhilai, Sep 17: Bar and Rod Mill of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant has created a new Shift record on September 10, 2021 during ‘C’ shift by rolling 462 billets (957 Tonnes) in 12 mm TMT bars. BRM also created a new daily record on September 12, 2021 by rolling 1157 billets (2387 T) in 12 mm TMT bars.
BRM has kept a target of 100 % customer satisfaction apart from giving priority to good quality of products. Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP), Anjani Kumar, ED (Works) and senior officers congratulated the BRM collective, expressing confidence that they will achieve all targets in the future and reach new heights.
Mukesh Gupta, CGM (BRM) congratulated the BRM collective for this achievement. Team work, scheduled maintenance and support from associated departments have borne fruit and led to these records, he said. He urged them to achieve all their targets and expressed his faith in their potential to fulfil given targets and set new records.
