Three of a family killed in road accident
Bhilai, Sep 08: Three members of a family were killed in a road accident which occurred near village Navataria – Khedamara of Jamul on Wednesday morning. The deceased were man, wife and their child. A 3-year-old girl child was injured in the accident and is admitted to the hospital. They were moving on a bike and were knocked down by a truck. A mob gathered at the accident spot and poured anger on the truck driver.
According to information, Arya Nagar Kohka resident Anil Sinha (33) was moving with his wife Bharti Sinha (28), son Ayush Sinha (6) and daughter Nidhi (3) on a bike towards their native place. Near Khedamara, they stopped on roadside to have water. In the meanwhile, a speeding truck (CG07-CA-6003) came from behind and ran over them. Anil Sinha, Bharti Sinha and Aayush died on the spot while the three-year-old Nidhi was rushed to the hospital and her condition was reported to be out of danger.
On information, CSP Vishwas Chandrakar, Inspector Vishal Sone, Inspector Vinay Singh Baghel and Inspector Durgesh Sharma reached there with police force and diffused anger of the locals. The truck driver identified as Gopal Yadav (30) of Medesara has been arrested.
