FSNL CMD Surendra Kumar Gupta’s maiden visit to Bhilai

Bhilai, Jul 18: The Chairman cum Managing Director of Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited Surendra Kumar Gupta was accorded a warm welcome on his maiden visit to Bhilai at the Mini Auditorium of the corporate office. Present as special guest were Shatdal Mitra, Chief General Manager (Finance and Accounts), and Pankaj Tyagi DGM (P&A). The felicitation was complete under the special hospitality and dignified presence of all the heads of the departments. The Chief Guest Surendra Kumar Gupta duly inaugurated the programme with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and offering prayers on the portrait of Goddess Saraswati. He also planted a tree in “Swarna Jayanti Udyan”.
The CMD, FSNL in his address said that, “We have to upgrade our technology, increase our productivity and limit non-essential expenses. Our hardworking employees are our biggest asset. If we fully utilize our potential, there is no goal which we cannot achieve.” He urged the FSNL family to stay committed and continuously strive to improve and harness all the available resources through teamwork. Efforts should be made to make FSNL the best institution so that there is a sense of pride in customers and employees alike. He added that he felt proud that the employees are taking the company to the highest peak of success with their hard work and discipline. Despite the global Covid-19 pandemic, the hardworking employees are giving their services continuously, they all deserve congratulations.
Earlier, on arrival to the corporate office, CMD Surendra Kumar Gupta was welcomed with a floral bouquet by Shatdal Mitra, CGM (Finance and Accounts), Pankaj Tyagi, DGM (P&A)/Law, Prabhakar Singh Thakur, Deputy General Manager (Vigilance), Subikas Biswas, Assistant General Manager (Operations), G Saraswat, Assistant General Manager (Material Management), Satyendra Kumar Jha, Senior Manager (Maintenance) and Ashok Mishra, Company Secretary welcomed with bouquet. Pankaj Tyagi, while delivering the welcome address said that under the leadership of the CMD, FSNL is moving towards becoming a leading organization with state of the art technology in Steel Mill and other areas. His vast experience, guidance and inspiration will help FSNL production reach its peak. The officers/employees of the corporate office and unit heads/personnel and administration heads of the units participated in the program online. Chhagan lal Nagwanshi, Official Language Incharge conducted the programme also proposed the vote of thanks.
