Cong playing politics over farmer’s bonus amount: Sahu

Fingeshwar, May 21: Former President of BJP Ramkumar Sahu has demanded state government to pay the entire amount of paddy bonus to the farmers being paid to them in the name of Rajiv Gandhi Kissan Nyay Yojana and is basically the hard earned money of farmers and it should be paid in one installment to all farmers.
Sahu in a press release demanded CM Bhupesh Baghel that entire bonus to the farmers be paid to them in one installment, so that their financial condition improves and it comes back on track.
He said that today entire Chhattisgarh is facing the corona pandemic and the condition of farmers in villages have worsened due to this pandemic and on top of it the natural calamities like unseasonal rains and hailstorm.
In this way Sahu said that the farmers are facing double blow and added that the very amount of bonus of the farmers which the state government is paying in the name of RGKNY in four installments should be paid one go. The government purchase paddy from farmers in the month of Dec, Jan, Feb and in this way more than 4 months have lapsed for paddy purchase and in such conditions the entire bonus amount to farmers be paid in one installment, so that they get some backing and cushion to plan for next crop or next course of action and provide them with some funds during this pandemic and natural calamity.
