Bhilai Commissioner holds review meeting for progress in development works

Bhilai, May 18:
A zone wise review meeting of the area falling within the Bhilai Municipal Corporation limits in connection with various development works and major issues directly related to the citizens was conducted at the BMC Head office on Tuesday. The review meeting was carried out by Deputy Commissioner Ashok Dwivedi and Superintendent Engineer UK Dhalendra on the instructions of Bhilai Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi. In the meeting that began at 12:00 hrs, turn wise was conducted for all the zones which mainly expressed concern to complete the construction works prior to the onset of monsoon. The review meeting decided to complete the construction works that remain incomplete due to the lockdown. Dwivedi instructed all the zone commissioners to start the works as soon as possible, construction works approved from the government level. Instructions have been given to bring progress in both small and big important development works and priority should also be given to such small works which can be completed within the stipulated period, Along with this, instructions have been given to complete the unfinished work in a time-limit.
Review was also done on the list of works for which NOC has been obtained from BSP. Instructions were given to clean the drainage system before the onset of monsoon. Those present at the meeting were Zone Commissioners Sunil Agarhari, Pooja Pillai, Amitabh Sharma, Preeti Singh, Executive Engineers BK Dewangan, DK Verma, Sanjay Bagade, Sanjay Sharma and TK Ranadive, Health Officer Dharmendra Mishra, Accounts Officer Jitendra Thakur, Assistant Engineer Sunil Dubey, Vinita Verma , Sharad Chawda, Wasim Khan, Assistant Health Officer Javed Ali.
