CBI inquiry sought into suspicious death of Pushpraj Singh

Mungeli, May 27: Kannojiya Kshatriya Samaj has seeked a criminal inquiry into the suspicious death of young constable Pushpraj Singh, who was found dead on the night of 13 May in a supposed road accident. The executive members of the Samaj have submitted a memorandum to leader of opposition, Dharamlal Kaushik, Bilaspur MP Arun Sao, IG Ratanlal Dangi, Governor, Chief Minister, and Home Minister seeking a CBI intervention into the case as they suspect an element of murkiness in the sudden death of a promising youth of the Samaj. The immediate family members of the deceased have accused the SP, SDOP and Station In charge of the district of foul play as they are deeply skeptical about the conclusion of the police that Singh had died in a typical road accident. It needs a mention that Singh was found dead road side and prior to his death via social media he had sounded alarm that he may be killed and had cited unknown reasons behind the motive. CM Bhupesh Baghel himself had praised the philanthropic act of Singh when he had donated his one year salary to the CM COVID care fund. Pushpraj was serving as constable in Mungeli district and was a native of village Madanpur. His sudden death has created a series of suspicion for the entire community and senior members of the Samaj, which includes President Alok Singh Parihar, Vice President Shiv Pratap Singh, Karni Sena state President Alok Singh Parihar and others, and have asked for a probe and punishment of the culprits at the earliest.
