Vijay wins silver medal in All India University Weightlifting championship

Vijay Maheshwari from Raipur, Chhattisgarh representing Pt Ravishanker Shukla University (PRSU) won silver medal in the All India Inter University Weightlifting Championship bring organized under the aegis of Chandigarh University Mohali Punjab. According to the information received, Vijay Maheshwari won silver medal in the 55 Kg category. He lifting 94 Kg in Snatch and also lifted 131 Kg in Clean & Jerk event totaling 225 Kgs. Vijay Maheshwari is student of J Yoganandam Chhattisgarh College Raipur and attending regular training at Gudhiyari Raipur-based Jai Satnam Gymnasium under the coaching of Rustam Sarang and Manager Rajesh Janghel. Akash Gaur from Nanded University won gold medal in the All India event.
