Umesh Patel inaugurates ‘Hamar Lab’ at District Hospital Balodabazar

Balodabazar, Nov 19: Higher Education Minister and in-charge Minister of Balodabazar district Umesh Patel launched ‘Humar Lab Scheme’ at District Hospital Balodabazar.
With the increase in the facility in Hamar Lab, now 114 types of samples will be tested and the disease will be detected here. Earlier there were only 60 types of tests. With the availability of high level facilities in Hamar Lab, people in the area will no longer need to run to Bilaspur or Raipur for investigation.
Patel has appealed to the citizens of the district to take maximum advantage of this facility. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Ms Shakuntala Sahu, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Chandradev Rai, Chairman of Textbook Corporation Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, District Panchayat President Rakesh Kumar Verma, former MLA Janakram Verma, District President Hitendra Thakur, Collector Sunil Kumar Jain, SP IK Elisela along with a large number of public representatives and doctors and staff of the hospital were present.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr KR Sonwani and Civil Surgeon Dr Rajesh Awasthi apprised the in-charge minister and public representatives about the facilities available in Hamar Lab. They said people of the district will now get the facility of 114 types of tests related to pathology, serology, biochemistry, immunology, hematology and microbiology in Hamar Lab. This important facility has been provided by the state government to the people of the district. Hamar Lab has been equipped with all those testing facilities which are in big cities.
HBVN for sugar, electrolyte for kidney, tropinin ion related to heart, PTINR of blood, bacteria culture and drug sensitivity test are mainly included. At present, 21 technicians and staff including one MD pathologist have been deployed in the lab. In-charge of Hamar Lab, Dr Ashok Verma finally expressed his gratitude to the guests including the Minister in-charge Umesh Patel.
