TBSI to felicitate poor and meritorious students

Raipur, Sep 22:
The state level convention of The Buddhist Society of India (TBSI) was held under the chairmanship of State President B S Jagrit in the state capital recently. Various issues were discussed in detail in the convention. State President B S Jagrit informed that the TBSI has unanimously taken a decision for construction of Dr Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan in every tehsil and block of the state. The convention, the district body of the TBSI has been authorized to prepare a plan for construction of Dr Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan, hostels, ashrams and library at tehsil level.  In the convention, it was also decided to provide education, scholarship for higher education and health facilities for below poverty line children, orphan children and landless children. Meritorious students of class 10th, 12th and graduate will be honoured with cash prize by the society, Jagrit added.
Engineering students from Khairagarh, Gandai, Silhati, Lohara and Salewara were given books free of cost by State President B S Jagrit and his family.
Durg President C K Dongare, Balod General Secretary Vednath Khobragarhe, Rajnandgaon District President Rameshwar Ramteke and Kondgaon District President C L Meshram were felicitated for their exceptional works in the programme.
National Trustee S R Kande, State General Secretary Bhojraj Gorkhede, State Treasurer Neelkanth Singhare, Sanskar Pramukh C D Khobragarhe, Vice President C L Maheshwari, Vice President Aniruddh Koche, Ashok Dongare, Punalik Rao Khapardey, Beniram Gayakwad, G S Bawangarhe, Bimbisar, Sanjay Gajbhiye, Anil Thoke, Raipur District President Prakash Ramteke, Sanjay Wasnik, Hemant Rao Kande, other members and followers attended the meeting.
