SECRMC stages protest against arbitrary decision of CMD Bilaspur

Raipur, Dec 01: In a sudden move railway administration took a decision that no railway staff coming for treatment at Divisional Railway Hospital Raipur will be referred to the private hospital for better treatment. Now, all railway staff need to visit Zonal Railway Hospital Bilaspur for better treatment. In this connection SECRMC Divisional Coordinator D Vijay Kumar and other office bearers of Mazdoor Congress which include Sameer Pandey COB, Bhimrao Bodalkar COB, B D Prasad COB and others staged a darna in front of DRM Office Raipur on Wednesday ( December 01)against the arbitrary decision of CMD Bilaspur.
It was agreed upon by CMD Bilaspur that in serious cases patients will immediately be referred by Mazdoor Congress has demanded immediate cancellation of the letter issued by the railway administration mentioning no referral of the railway staff from the Divisional Railway Hospital Raipur.
The other demands include medical reimbursement of railway employees who underwent COVID treatment at their own cost, constitution of medical board to decide cases of employees who are on medical leave for a long period, treatment of cancer and dialysis patients in Raipur, mandatory daily presence of doctor at Bhatapara, Tilda, Durg and Dalli Rajahara stations and other demands.
