‘Rly honours NFIR request for utilizing CSBF amount for vaccination’

Raipur, May 17: National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) requested the Chairman, Railway Board to issue instructions to Zonal Railways and Production Units for vaccination of all Railway employees and their family members without cost vide Federation’s letters dated 22/04/2021 & 12/05/2021 and for the purpose to utilize funds from Central Staff Benefit Fund(CSBF) maintained at the level of General Managers of the Zonal Railways and Production Units.
General Secretary/NFIR Dr. M. Raghavaiah and SECRMC Bilaspur General Secretary felt happy to state that the Federation’s demand has been accepted by the Railway Ministry and necessary instructions have been issued by the Railway Ministry vide letter dated 14/05/2021 to the General Managers of Zones and Production Units to transfer 100% unspent funds of CSBF for the purpose of providing treatment, procurement of equipment in the Railway Hospitals/Health Units and to vaccinate all Railway employees and their family members.
