One minor arrested while trying to steal electrical wires

Raipur, May 11: Breaking the lock of an abandoned house, one of the minor in this theft was arrested while trying to steal a bundle of electric wire. A report in this regard was filed in DD Nagar thana.
As per information in this regard, one Chandrashekhar Agrawal (38), R/o A-3, PS City, Near Khallari Mandir, is an Advocate by profession in Raipur. He had been to Durg for his personal work on May 10 and it was in-between the neighbour called him at 3:00 pm that few boys have broken the main lock of his house and trying to steal items.
On this the neighbour shouted and hearing which the three boys ran away and one minor was found hiding in the kitchen. On hearing about the incident when the owner of the house came back, this minor was kept in custody and was handed over to police.
Inside when the owner went, he found that a bundle of 1 mm electrical wire; three bundles of 1.5 mm electrical wire and two bundles of 4 mm electrical wire and CCTV cable one bundle and TV cable wire one bundle and new wiring at some places in the house was found cut at different places and was damaged by the youths.
Based upon the complaint, the police filed complaint under section 380 and 354 of IPC against the three unknown accused and one minor and took the case under investigation.
