NSS develops leadership capacity: Uikey

Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey attended the National Parade of Republic Day at Raj Bhavan here and has received a courtesy call from the NSS workers who received the National Service Scheme Award.
It is known that two NSS workers of Chhattisgarh were felicitated with the National Service Scheme Award of NSS. These national award winning students Mr. Rakesh Kumar and Mr. Satyendra Sahu have also been felicitated by the Governor Ms. Uikey.
Giving heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the workers, who received the National Award, Governor Ms. Uikey said that it is a privilege to receive the National Award and have highlighted the name of Chhattisgarh by receiving the National Award on the occasion of Republic Day. Ms. Uikey said that I myself was previously associated with NSS. The NSS awakens the feeling of nationalism and by taking part in the camps of the NSS does not bring any inferiority to any small work and also creates a sense of dedication to the people and serve the people. NSS develops leadership capacity and it awakens confidence. The Governor appreciated the awareness campaign undertaken by the volunteers of NSS during the Corona period and the work done to protect Covid-19 and said that one should work with a sense of belonging towards his state and country.
He said that by reading biographies of great men, there is a lot to be learned and a person’s identity is formed through the way of working. The Governor said that while meeting the people, she listens to the problems of the general public, while also encouraging them to work in the national interest. On this occasion, the State Coordinator of NSS, Dr. Samarendra Singh, Program Coordinator of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University Raipur, Dr. Neeta Bajpayee, Program Officer of DP Vipra College Bilaspur, Mrs. Reena Tamarkar and student Bhavna Jaiswal, Jyoti, Yashoda royal house and students Mr. Jitesh Kumar Dewangan, Mr. Vishal Kumar Dewangan, Mr. Lakesh Kumar Sidar, Mr. Satyendra Sahu, Mr. Rakesh Kumar were present.
