No complete unlock in state at present: Choubey

Raipur, May 13: The Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey has made a major statement in context of lockdown in Chhattisgarh. He said that at present there will not be total unlock in state and definitely some relaxations will be given. In this regard the District Collector have been asked to take final decision depending upon the situation of positive cases, recovery and taking other factors into account.
All the districts will soon be issued new guidelines related to unlock, but this lockdown will not be lifted completely at present, he added.

60 prisoners administered vaccine
Raipur: In view of increasing number of corona positive cases in capital city, a total of 60 jail birds in age group of 45 and above of largest central jail of state in Raipur were administered first dose of Corona vaccine here on Wednesday. It is notable here that in view of increasing number of corona positive cases in central jail many have succumbed to this virus and seeing this the Home Department decided to take up vaccination for all the prisoners in the Jail.

Lockdown extended till May 23
Balrampur: Number of corona positive cases are on the rise in rural areas of Chhattisgarh and in-between the lockdown period on Surguja division has been increased.
It is notable here that in view of increasing number of cases, Collector Shyam Dhavde has issued order and according to which the lockdown has been extended till May 23 in the district.
