International Conference on ‘Role of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management for Sustainable Development’ from today

OP Jindal University, Raigarh’s School of Management is organising a two-day 4th International Conference on ‘Role of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management for Sustainable Development’ during 3 – 4 November 2023. The conference will be organized in hybrid mode at Raipur. Dr. Saket Jeswani, Vice Chairman of the conference and Head of the School of Management, said that the objective of this International Conference, organized in collaboration with Sohar University, Oman and Josh Maria College, Philippines, is to provide a platform to all the stakeholders associated with the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management. The aim is to bring together and discuss their role in sustainable development, and to provide a major interdisciplinary platform to present and discuss innovations as well as solutions to meet the practical challenges of sustainable development. Eminent speakers from academia and industry will mainly present their views on innovation, entrepreneurship and other areas related to management.
Dr. R. D. Patidar, Vice Chancellor of OP Jindal University and Chairman of the conference, said that in this conference based on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management, academicians, researchers, and all other concerned from all over the world related not only to innovation, entrepreneurship and management but also research and sustainable development in inter-disciplinary areas will gather and discuss various issues. By discussing and pondering over the issues, we will try to take initiative in making meaningful plans in the respective areas. Apart from the opening and closing sessions, 02 keynote sessions, 23 technical sessions and 02 workshops will be organized in this two-day conference.
This international conference of OPJU will be inaugurated by Professor Rajeev Prakash (Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai) in the presence of special guests – Dr. M.K. Verma, Vice Chancellor, CSVTU, Bhilai, Bimalendra Jha, MD, Jindal Steel & Power, Nilesh T. Shah (Head- Machine Division, Jindal Steel & Power, Raipur), Dr. R. D. Patidar (Vice Chancellor of OP Jindal University and Chairman of the Conference) and other distinguished guests; and all the guests will also address the conference. The speakers, Dr. Hamdan Sulaiman Al Fazari, Sohar University, Oman (Online ), Dr. Felix Chavez Jr., President, JMC Inc., Philippines (Online), C.S. Sharad Kankani, President, ICSI (Raipur Chapter), Pradeep Tandon, President, Corporate Affairs, Jindal Steel & Power will also address the conference.
The conference will include keynote & plenary talks, paper presentations and technical sessions by subject experts. Conference participants will have the opportunity to interact and network with experts in the fields related to innovation, entrepreneurship and management. 170 research papers will be read/presented by the participants during the two days of the conference. 255 research abstracts were received for presentation in the conference, out of which 170 were selected by the technical committee on the basis of their quality and originality.
