800 players from 25 states to participate in Taekwondo National Championship

37th National Taekwondo Sub Junior Championship will start from today

Players from all over the country are going to gather in Chhattisgarh to prove their talent in Taekwondo, a game full of exciting art of self-defense. The National Championship of Taekwondo will start on February 2 at Budhapara Stadium in the capital Raipur. In this national competition, 800 players from a total of 25 states, from the national capital Delhi to Chennai and Assam-Manipur in the North-East, will compete.

The 37th National Taekwondo Sub Junior Championship, which was finalized between February 2 and 4, will be organized under the joint auspices of Taekwondo Federation of India, Sports and Youth Welfare Department Chhattisgarh and Chhattisgarh Taekwondo Association. Anil Dwivedi, Joint Secretary of Taekwondo Federation of India and General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Taekwondo Association, said that the preparations for this competition are in the final stages. The Sangh team and sports lovers from across the state are excited about this exciting event to be held at Budhapara Stadium. Treasurer of Chhattisgarh Taekwondo Association, Maheshdas said that apart from host Chhattisgarh, a total of 25 states including Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Maharashtra, Telangana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka are participating in this competition. 800 players and about 80 officials will participate.

Minister for Sports & Youth Welfare Tankram Verma will be the chief guest of the inauguration ceremony to be held on Friday.
