CBSE National Athletics meet from Nov 5
Asian Gold Medalist Parul Chaudhary to be guest of honour

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) National Athletics meet 2023-24 is being organised under the aegis of city-based NH Goel World School’s synthetic track from November 5 to 7.
Addressing a press conference here, the Director Administration SK Tomar informed that Asian Games Gold Medalist Parul Chaudhary would be the guest of honour during the inaugural ceremony whereas Joint Secretary and Regional Officer CBSE Bhubaneshwar K Srinivasan would be the Chief Guest who would be motivating the young athletes participating in the Athletics meet. He further informed that more than 3250 athletes from 20 countries affiliated with India and International CBSE would be participating in the three-day mega event.
Tomar further said that presence of Rising Indian Athlete Gold Medalist Parul Chaudhary would enhance the enthusiasm among the athletes and will show them the importance of sportsmanship. The CBSE National Sports meet will witness the participation of talented athletes from all corner of the country. He informed that the Athletics Meet would be held in various categories for Under 14, 17 and 19 age groups. The event promises to be a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.
Principal of the School Dr Avinash Pandey said that they are expecting that the talented Athletes would create new records of the CBSE Sports meet during the mega event as most of them have won the Cluster Level and qualified for the National Athletics meet.
