This campaign is an initiative by the Ministry of Culture and organized by Art of Living to increase awareness among the youth about the significance of meditation.

Dr. NV Ramana Rao, Director, NIT Raipur was the Chief Guest for the event. Ashwini Jaggi began the session by explaining the reasons for stress. He briefed that we are never fully concentrated in the present moment and our mind keeps vacillating between past and future which creates emotions of anger or anxiety and fear throughout the day. He also stated that the mind persists in what we want to resist and we accumulate more negativity in our nervous system. He raised consciousness about these tendencies of mind and how to bring mind to a calmer and serene level. He enlightened the attendees about the multiple levels of our existence including physical body, breath, mind, intellect, memory, ego, consciousness, and how we can control our mind with the help of breathing techniques. The speaker guided everyone to some basic pranayama practices and meditation which helped the audience in relieving stress.

Dr. NV Ramana Rao expressed his gratitude to the HSS department for organizing this event and guiding the current generation about the benefits of meditation such as improving imagination and innovative abilities along with aiding in physical well-being.
