Extension of health facilities to inaccessible and remote areas of the state

Raipur, Apr 18: Every possible initiative is being taken by the government to control covid-19 in the state and to provide prompt treatment to the patients. Under this, special emphasis is being laid on the expansion and strengthening of health facilities to inaccessible and remote areas of the state. According to these requirements, special attention is being given to testing and vaccination, including opening of Covid Care Center, Quarantine Center. Along with this, work is also being done to bring awareness among the people to prevent corona. In this series, an additional 150-bed Covid Care Center is being set up in the Block Headquarters garden located in the remote zone of the state. This Covid Care Center D.A.V. school is being set up in the garden. It is worth noting that at present, additional building was required for the treatment of corona patients in the block headquarters garden. Keeping this in mind, D.A.V. school garden is being built as an additional covid care center. Similarly, in South Bastar (Dantewada), Korba and Gariaband districts, recruitment is also being done for the posts of Medical Officer and Staff Nurse. Under this, 4 doctors have been appointed to strengthen health facilities in South Bastar district during the Corona era. Apart from this, the final selection list has been released for the recruitment of temporary posts in Covid hospitals in Korba district. Applications have been sought for 5 posts of Medical Officer and 30 vacant posts of Staff Nurse for prevention, control and emergency from infection of Covid-19 in Gariaband district. For the control of Covid-19 in the state, intensive campaign for vaccination is being carried out by motivating people for appointing 20 volunteers in each village of Dhamtari district. A new order has been issued by the District Collector in Surajpur district for the distribution and sale of oxygen produced in the Vidya Gas Industry Narayanpur, in which the sale of oxygen has been completely banned for any industrial unit or business purpose. Similarly, in Kondagaon village, women of self-help groups are doing wall writing for awareness. Along with this, information is being given on applying masks, using sanitizer and adhering to social distancing when going out of the house. It is being informed that by following these, corona infection can be avoided to a great extent. Similarly, rapid arrangements are being made for treatment of corona infects in Korba district. At present, medical oxygen is available to treat Covid patients more than double. Living in home isolation in Korba district, patients fighting the war against Corona are recovering in large numbers.
So far, 21 thousand 311 patients in the district have been given the facility to stay in home isolation following common symptoms and corona protocol and treatment guidelines. Of these, 16 thousand 897 patients have been completely cured so far. In this way, the rate of recovery in home isolation in Korba district is about 80 percent.
