Devendra Yadav unanimously elected COA General Secretary

Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Bhilai Nagar Devendra Yadav has been unanimously elected new General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association (COA) at the Special General Body meeting held at the Office situated at Balbeer Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium here.
Returning Officer Shyam Kishore Sahay made the announcement after a proposal was unanimously passed in presence of senior office-bearers. Sahay also presented the certificate to Devendra Yadav on his election as new General Secretary of COA. District Sports Officer Raipur Pravesh Joshi was present as Observer during the proceedings. In his address, the newly-elected GS Yadav said that attempts would be made to ensure basic infrastructure is being provided apart from amenities to the players. He said that the benefits of state government would reach to the players.
COA Vice Presidents Gajraj Pagaria, Bashir Ahmed Khan and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion, informed Joint Secretary Dr Vishnu Shrivastava in a statement issued here.
