Congress Govt failed to provide relief to people on it’s own resources: Chandrakar

Raipur, Nov 25: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Spokesperson Ajay Chandrakar on Thursday launched attacked the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel over his frequent letter written to Union Government for financial assistance on key issues.
In a statement issued here, the BJP spokesperson claimed that the state government has no guts to take up any work on its own and is resorting to unnecessary politics by raking up compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the kin of Covid 19 victim despite the fact that Centre has provided central fund in accordance to the Supreme Court directives. Chandrakar alleged that the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has done nothing on its own during the last three year and the relief which the people of Chhattisgarh are presently getting is all due to Central Assistance.
BJP MLA claimed that the Centre had been providing free ration to the people from weaker section of society during the entire Covid period and has now once again extended the duration for four more months and further added that Centre has been providing all possible assistance to Chhattisgarh whereas the Congress government here is unnecessarily raking politics against Centre. He further stated that Centre was forced to take back the target of 7.81 lakh Houses under PM Housing Scheme due to failure on part of the state government to provide state-share to the scheme. He claimed that Chhattisgarh had to suffer financial assistance of nearly Rs 11000 crore of Housing Scheme for Poor due to negligence on part of the state government. He further attack on the Bhupesh Baghel government raising questions as if people had voted for Congress is 70 Assembly seats in Chhattisgarh only for writing letter to Centre.
