Congress Expels Four Councillors for 6 Years

Raipur, May 08
In a major move, the Chhattisgarh Congress has expelled four councillors from the party for a period of six years. The decision was taken by Congress Secretary Ravi Ghosh under the direction of PCC Chief Mohan Markam. The four councillors – Pankaj Nag, Devshri Vedvyas, Shabnam Bano, and Shagir Khan – were found guilty of working against the party during the recent municipal elections. The expulsion is seen as a strong message by the Congress to its members that anti-party activities will not be tolerated.
