CMA Dr Haq first to get vaccination from Apollo

Bacheli, Feb 05: The frontline workers of Bacheli rendering services to Covid and general patients took a sigh of relief on Thursday. Actually it was on this day the vaccination programme against Covid-19 started at NMDC Covid Care Centre. First it was CMA Dr SM Haq from Apollo Central Hospital, sidelining all rumours related to Covid vaccine got the vaccination done in front of all the health and medical staff and removed all doubts in minds of the people.
After this, 109 Anganbadi workers were registered, as per government’s list and were vaccinated against corona virus. District Vaccination Officer Dr Rajesh Dhruv informed that as per the departmental list of frontline workers, the person is informed through SMS and vaccination date and time and venue.
On start of vaccination programme from Jan 16 onwards, 3 centres were established and which along with Bacheli is now total 11. First the vaccination is administered to central and state level health employees and in this all frontline workers are vaccinated on priority basis.
Holding all rumours about Covishield vaccine as false, Dr Dhruv informed that the way young children feels little bit of pain or light fever after DPT vaccination, in the same way some persons may feel bit uncomfortable after this vaccination, otherwise it is very much safe. Nodal officer for vaccination expressed satisfaction over arrangements for vaccination by NMDC and Apollo Hospital and hailed their efforts and ask to keep all persons vaccinated under observation for half-an-hour and be ready to provide any emergency services in case of any adverse effect to any individual.
On the first day of vaccination, NMDC Executive Director AK Prajapati and Palik CMO IL Patel extended greetings to all for start of vaccination.
