CM virtually inaugurates Makhana Processing Center

Raipur, Dec 05: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today virtually inaugurated the first Makhana Processing Center of Chhattisgarh ‘Makhana Farming, Processing and Marketing Center’ in village Lingadih of Arang development block of Raipur district during a programme organised for transfer of the amount of Godhan Nyay Yojana at his residence office. On this occasion, he launched the Makhana produced in this farm under the brand name ‘Dauji’ in the name of Late Krishna Kumar Chandrakar Dau Ji, who started the cultivation of Makhana at Ojas Farm, Lingadih.
Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Rajya Sabha MP Chhaya Verma, Chairman of State Mineral Development Corporation Girish Devangan, Advisor to Chief Minister Pradeep Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subrat Sahoo and Public Relations Commissioner Dipanshu Kabra, Gajendra Chandrakar of Makhana Farming, Processing and Marketing Center of village Lingadih’ and Manisha Chandrakar of Ojas Farms cultivating Makhana were also present. Gajendra Chandrakar gave a presentation on Makhana cultivation on this occasion. He said that Processing and Marketing Center’ of Lingadih, free technical.
