CM holds virtual discussion with the people’s reps, villagers and social heads

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel held discussions with villagers, public representatives and social heads of Bijapur and Sukma districts in a virtual dialogue program today. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to protect the interests of the tribals. He said that fruitful discussions were held with all the people in this meeting. Everyone wants peace, development and justice in the region. Describing the incident of Silger as unfortunate, Baghel expressed grief over this incident. Chief Minister said that it was a circumstantial incident, a magisterial inquiry has been announced into the incident. You all cooperate in this. The state government also wants that the facts to come out and there will be no hesitation in taking action on whatever facts come out.
The Chief Minister announced the approval of a 30-bed hospital at Jagargunda on the demand of the villagers. Similarly, to solve the problem of red water in 10 gram panchayats of Gangalur area of ??Bijapur district, including Gangalur, Burji, Gongla, Pusnar, Pedia, Todka, Gampur, Kaika, Reddy and Palnar, Chief Minister announced the installation of siltation filtration structure and solar dual pump with a cost of Rs 5 crore to get rid of this problem. With the establishment of this plant, clean drinking water will be available to about 20 thousand people of 6 thousand families of this area.
In the program, Chief Minister Baghel while granting the approval for 104 works at the cost of about 43 crore 08 lakh rupees in various villages of Bijapur and Sukma districts for primary school, Anganwadi, Gram Panchayat buildings, fair price shops, Devgudi construction, solar dual pump installation, CC road construction, hand pump installation, also performed bhoomi pujan of these works in the program. Chief Minister appealed to the people’s representatives that village development committees should be formed in the villages, in which educated youth should be included. In special circumstances where the sarpanch is not present, the construction works will be given to these committees.
He appealed to all the heads of society and public representatives to prepare a map of the land occupied by the natives, and take initiative to get Patta of the land occupied under the Forest Rights Recognition Act. On the request of the villagers, he invited them to come to Raipur to meet them.
