Assembly Speaker Mahant receives vaccine

Raipur, May 19: Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant on Wednesday received first dose of vaccine under the Covid 19 vaccination campaign here on Wednesday. Health Officer presented the vaccination certificate to him after the process.
After vaccination, the Assembly Speaker made an appeal to the people to avail the benefits of vaccine as it is the only option to protect themselves from the Covid 19 infections and also asked people to motivate others to take up the vaccine.
He said that the vaccine is completely safe and would help individuals to protect themselves from Covid 19. He also stated that people should follow Covid 19 protocol by wearing mask and maintaining social distancing at public places as well as to regularly sanitize.
