Admn to make Micro Containment Zone on more than 2 Covid 19 cases

Raipur, Jul 19: Amidst apprehension over possible third wave of Covid 19, the District Administration on Monday decided to make the area as Micro Containment Zone if more than two people are found affected with Corona virus in Raipur District. District Collector Sourabh Kumar has issued essential directives to the officials a part of the exercise to check the spread of Covid 19 in the district.
Above decision has been taken following the directives from Union Health Ministry to Chhattisgarh government to take strict measures to check the spread of virus in future.
Upper Collector and Additional District Magistrate Raipur NR Sahu has been appointed Nodal Officer to take essential steps in this regard apart from declaration of Micro Containment Zone in the district. It is notable that the previously also the administration had taken steps to check spread by declaring the areas as Containment Zone on higher number of Covid 19 cases but instead of complete lockdown like measures, the administration wants to create Micro Containment Zone to deal with any threat in future.
