Admn comes up with fresh guidelines on lockdown

Raipur, May 15: Extending lockdown till May 31, the District Collector on Saturday morning declared fresh guidelines under which several relaxations have been made for the people as well as business establishments.
As per the fresh orders issued here, the individual shops/individual shops only, relating to kirana & daily needs, vegetables & fruits would be allowed to open till 5 o’clock in the evening whereas the Shops selling Meat, poultry, eggs, fish, milk, milk products only would also continue. In a significant relaxations, the Banks, post offices would remain open for all clients, but with 50% staff & appropriate social/physical distancing measures. Similarly, the Registry offices, with basic staff, for all registries would start functioning from Monday onwards but the Token system/online system to be implemented (like last year).
Another important relaxation would be opening up of Public Service Centres including Choice centres for various government works.
The demand of the Traders has also been approved with certain fresh guidelines for them under which the Established markets ( Malviya Road, MG Road, Pandri Textile Market, Gole Bazar) may be opened on daily basis, but with odd-even numbered shops opening on alternate days, or alternatively shops on each side of a road on alternate days, for 6 days a week.
Wholesale grain shops to be allowed till 5.00 pm whereas the E-commerce like Amazon & Flipkart would resume their working from Monday onwards. Home delivery from hotels & restaurants to be allowed till 10.00 pm. Food orders can be taken till 9.00 pm.
Loading & unloading of goods, cargo, wholesale vegetables & fruits can be done any time between 10.00 pm and 6.00 am. District administration can decide local timings, but never later than 6.00 am in morning. Local personal & construction related shops like plumbing, electrical, hardwares, ACs, Coolers, can be allowed to open 6 days a week.
Marriages & funerals with permission for 10 persons max.
However, restrictions would continue in places which may attract large crowd like Mandi & vegetables markets (mass markets like Shastri Market in Raipur) shall not open to public. Hotels & restaurants (only home delivery permitted).
Marriage halls, Cinema Halls, Gyms, Malls, Clubs, Swimming pools, Super Markets, Parks, Showrooms, other common places would remain close till further orders. All religious places having groups attendance would remain closed and there would be no social, cultural, religious, political assembly, public protests.
Coaching classes as well as Schools and Colleges (For Students) would continue remain closed, hostels (except for students giving exams only). Exams may be allowed as per Govt. of CG orders.
All shops & establishments shall remain closed after 5.00 pm on every working day, except Sundays, and shall open as per their normal schedule of opening on the next working day. There shall be complete enforcement of night lockdown from 5.00 pm till 6.00 am, except as per B4 & B5 above.
There will be a complete lockdown every Sunday. Only petrol pumps, hospitals medical establishments, medicine shops, PDS shops, milk home delivery, pet shops, LPG, newspapers and home delivery of fruits, vegetables, and other permitted goods and services will be allowed on Sundays.
