Accomplish work of COVID vaccination at earliest: Collector

Raipur, Nov 15: Collector Sourabh Kumar reviewed COVID vaccination at a meeting held at Red Cross Conference Hall in the Collectorate today. Expressing displeasure over the low achievements against the vaccination target in Arang and Dharsiwan block, he directed to take prompt action. He instructed to chalk out an action plan to complete 100% vaccination by coordinating with BMO and CEO.
He directed to prepare institution wise and village wise list of the beneficiaries left out for the second dose of COVID vaccination and contact them. The Collector also directed the District Vaccination Officer to complete the vaccination by contacting the beneficiaries of urban areas whose vaccination is pending, through the call center.
The Municipal Commissioners of Raipur and Birgaon were directed to provide human resources to the vaccination team for necessary coordination and cooperation. Also present on the occasion were district panchayat chief executive officer Mayank Chaturvedi, Raipur municipal commissioner Prabhat Malik, district vaccination officer and other concerned officers and staff.
