Sr administrative officers inspecting procurement centers

The secretary rank officers are taking information about the paddy procurement system by visiting various paddy procurement centers in their respective districts on the direction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and monitoring paddy procurement. During their visit they are also inspecting arrangements made for smooth procurement of paddy.
On the fourth day of paddy procurement, Secretary, Food Department, Topeshwar Verma and Secretary of Technical Education Department Mrs Rita Shandilya inspected Kathia, Jevra, Lenjwara, Kusmi, Sarda, Bijabhath and Hasda paddy procurement centers in Bemetara district and gave necessary instructions. They also discussed with the farmers regarding the paddy procurement system. The farmers said that they found paddy procurement system satisfactory. Secretary-in-charge of North Bastar Kanker district, Ankit Anand inspected the Chanvad, Amora, Narharpur and Ghotiyawahi procurement centers of Narharpur development block and took stock of the paddy procurement arrangements.
The secretary in-charge of Korba district, Anbalagan P reached Kanki, Katghora and Pauri and inspected the paddy procurement centers. He discussed with the farmers and inquired about the paddy procurement system.
The farmers told that they were satisfied with the arrangement of paddy procurement in the centres. The rate of old gunny bags has been increased by Rs 25. Officers of Food Department, Co-operative Bank, Marketing Association and Revenue Department were present along with the Collectors of the respective districts.
