IIT Bhilai and M.I Platov SRSPU sign MoU

Raipur, Aug 09: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai and M.I Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (SRSPU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on academic and research cooperation between the two institutes.
The MoU opens opportunities for the students, researchers, and faculty members of both institutes to avail themselves of short and long-term visits for academic and research purposes. This collaboration aims to foster and facilitate the advancement of knowledge on the basis of reciprocity and mutual benefit, while providing a global exposure to the institutes’ members.
IIT Bhilai is an institute of national importance and one of the youngest IITs in the country. It encourages innovation and original thinking among its students through an advanced academic curriculum and research-centric programs. SRSPU, the first higher education institution in the south of Russia, has made significant contributions to the development of engineering education in Russia. As a top institute, it trains highly-qualified engineers using innovative technology and focuses on large-scale fundamental and applied-science research.
